1.In the transportation industry, China successfully produced a maglev train driven by a linear motor in 2002. This adopts a new shape-curve, 15 meters long, 3 meters wide, and empty weight 20 tons, with 44 seats, can carry 100 people, the maximum load capacity is 16 tons, the design speed is 150 km / h, and the test speed is 80 km / h. China has become one of the few countries that have mastered magnetic levitation technology.
 
2.In the construction industry, for example, the first intelligent building widely used linear motor-driven elevators. The world's first elevator driven by linear motors was installed in the Wanshi Building in Guam, Tokyo, Japan in April 1990. The elevator has a load of 600KG. The speed is 105m/min and the lifting height is 22.9m. Since the linear motor-driven elevator does not have a traction unit, it is no need to make the machine room at the top of the building. The elevator is driven by a linear motor with high-temperature superconducting technology. The coil is installed in the hoistway, and the lift outside is equipped with high-performance permanent magnet material.
 
3.In the semiconductor industry, linear motors are widely used in lithography machines, IC bonding machines, IC laminating machines and other processing equipment because of their high speed, high precision, and non-polluting characteristics, and multiple linear motors are often required for a single device. 
First of all, the application of linear motors can also promote the production efficiency of labor-intensive enterprises in China. Many labor-intensive industries, such as food, batteries, and toy processing companies, usually require a large amount of labor. If the production line is upgraded to a linear motor-driven automated production line, the company will overcome the “labor shortage” and ease the pressure from rising labor costs. Will play a certain role.
